The Maharashtra Police PCC portal rejects an upload for two separate reasons, and the error message runs both together: the file must sit between 75 and 100 KB, and the file name must contain no spaces, dots or special characters.
The second condition catches almost everyone. A file arriving from a phone is called something like WhatsApp Image 2026-08-29 at 9.21.45 PM.jpg — spaces, dots and a colon. It is refused no matter what size it is, and the message still talks about size.
This page fixes both at once. Drop in the Aadhaar, election card, school certificate and NOC letter in any format, and each comes back as a JPEG inside the band, named 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg in the order you added them. Upload them in that order and nothing needs renaming by hand.
The band matters in both directions. A file compressed down to 40 KB is rejected just as a 150 KB one is, so the quality is raised or lowered until it lands between the two.
